St. Paul’s Cemetery Sunday Mass … at the cemetery (weather permitting) on Sunday, August 23rd, 11:00am. Please bring your own chair. Should we have inclement weather, the Mass will be in the Church. Registration is fast approaching! Please mark your calendar … Tuesday, Sept. 1st will be Grade one registration and Wed., Sept. 2nd will be Grades 2-8 registration. Both evenings will begin at 6pm in the Centre boardroom. Registration fee will be $20 per child with a maximum of $50 for three or more children.
First catechism class is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th … 11:30am – 12:30pm.

To Celebrate the Year of Consecrated Life … the Diocese of Charlottetown is sponsoring a public presentation by Sister Lorraine Caza CND, on Monday, October 19th, 7:00pm at St. Pius X Church. Reserve date.

Mont Carmel Summer Concert … Sunday, August 16th. Artists are Jean-Eudes Gallant, Albert, Mona & Louise Arsenault, Meaghan Blanchard, Zakk Cormier & others and stepdancers Alex Arsenault & others. Doors open at 6:15pm. $10/adults $8/Members $4/Students.

St. Paul’s Youth Group … meets every Thursday, 7pm – 9pm, 2nd level of St. Paul’s Parish Centre. All youth, Grades 7 & up are welcome to attend. Come and see.

St. Paul’s CWL Bursary … for daughters/granddaughters of CWL Members who are fulltime university/college students. Application forms available at the Parish office with deadline of Monday, August 24th.

Connolly Estate Bursaries … for male & female 1st & 2nd year university students, R C & of Irish descent who have financial need. Forms at Due on or before August 31, 2015.

Palmer Road Picnic … Immaculate Conception Church, Sunday, August 16th beginning with the outdoor mass at 11:00am followed by live music, lobster/ham dinners, flea market, games, 50/50, bingo, etc. Come out and bring the family.

Consultation on Euthanasia … Rev. Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau and President of the Can. Conference of Catholic Bishops, wrote to the Minister of Justice requesting that the CCCB be among those to be consulted by the Government of Canada on this question. The CCCB is encouraging all the Catholic communities across Canada to participate in the online consultation.
