Our Catholic Faith … beginning on January 20th , Fr. Chris will be facilitating an hour long session each week about the Catholic faith using the second part of the Symbolon program. Our next topic is: The Sacraments (an introduction).

St. Paul’s C.W.L. News … January is membership month for the Catholic Women’s League. Grade 2 … First Communion class … parents will meet Sunday, Jan. 24th, 11:30am. Please bring your child’s copy of their baptism certificate. All children must have proof of baptism in order to receive First Communion;
Grade 8 … group Mass 10:30am on Sunday, January 31st.

St. Paul’s Parish Variety Concert … to be held Sunday, January 24th, Centre Belle Alliance, (French School off South Drive) at 7 pm. Proceeds will go to St. Paul’s Parish for on-going programs/projects. Performers are local singers, dancers, musicians and acts. Cost $10/adults, $5 students, $25 max. cost for a family. Door prizes will be drawn, 50/50 tickets will be on sale ($2 each, 3 for $5 and 7 for $10). Fudge & bottled water will be sold . Invite friends and family to come out and support this parish fundraiser and enjoy an evening of great talent and fun!

Christian Refugee Relief Fund … the Knights of Columbus are selling Olive Wooden Crosses, made in Holy Land, $10 each. Monies used to support persecuted Christians in the Middle East. Available at St. Paul’s Gift Shop (church entrance) or from John Perry 436-4532.

Exhibition on the Mi’kmaq of PEI … at the Acadian Museum. Visit until May this exhibition “Ni’n na L’nu: The Mi’kmaq of PEI”. Wigwam-shaped modules, photos, audios and artifacts. Admission is free.

PEI Royal Canadian College of Organists Concert … at Trinity United Church, Summerside, February 21st, 3:00pm. Admission is by donation with 100% of the proceeds going to repair the Trinity’s pipe organ console.
