Lenten Parish Mission –February 22nd-24th … “ A Time of Mercy with Father Mark Cherry”. Join Fr. Mark Cherry and “All Things New” music ministry for this three-day mission in the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. St. Peter writes in his epistle that, “according to His great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1Pt. 1:3). We are living in a time when God has extended His great mercy to a world that has largely forgotten its need for His mercy. Turning to God for His mercy is the only hope for our world. We have this message of hope within us as followers of Jesus Christ. Monday – Why an Extraordinary Holy Year of Mercy? Tuesday – Receiving God’s great Mercy Wednesday – Sharing God’s Mercy The mission begins each evening at 7pm. On Monday and Wednesday, we will celebrate Holy Mass and the talk will be given within the Mass during the homily time. On Tuesday evening, we begin with a time of Praise and Worship, followed by talk, then Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Priests will be available to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday evening. Plan now to take this time aside for personal and parish renewal. Invite a friend to join you!
