St. Peregrine Mass (Patron Saint of cancer & other serious illnesses) … every 3rd Thursday of the month, 7pm followed by a blessing with the St. Peregrine oil.

Militia Immaculata (MI) … meets 2nd Saturday of each month, Boardroom, after 9:00am Mass.  Everyone welcome.                                         
Knights of Columbus … NO meetings in July & August … will resume in September.  Join the K of C ,1st  Sat. of the month, 6:30pm for rosary in preparation for the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady’s appearance at Fatima.

French Missalette Order … those of you who ordered last August, your subscription expires at the end September.  For renewal or anyone else wishing to order this French Missalette through the Parish, saving you about $10, please do so at the Parish office no later than August 5th.  The English Missalette will be ordered later and you will be notified.

Please Note … the Mass for Tuesday, July 19th will be celebrated at 9:00am and not 12:10pm.                     

 Giving to the Church … if you ever noticed that the person next to you at Mass didn’t put anything in the collection, they might be giving through an automatic withdrawal from their bank account.  It saves you the hassle of trying to remember the envelope before rushing out the door and you know your parish will still benefit from your generosity when you are travelling.  Contact the Parish office if you want more details or to sign up!

Vacation Bible Camp …  beginning this Monday,  St. Paul’s,  July 18th – 22nd.  Children entering  grades 1 to 6  may register for a wonderful week discovering their faith in a fun-filled, exciting environment.  Registration forms are available at the Parish office.

 Kolbe Library … St. Paul’s Parish Centre … back in operation.  Variety of books, DVD’s, etc.

Holy Family Ministries will be celebrating the feast of St. Maximillian Kolbe, Sunday, August 14, 1:30 – 4:30pm,  Kolbe Retreat Center, 4508 Route 12, Bayside.   Father Brad Sweet will provide a short presentation on St. Maximillian, patron saint of families, and a blessing on those present.  All welcome.  If you’re curious about Kolbe Retreat Center or the Holy Family Ministries family retreats, this is a great chance to take a look around. What are we doing to eliminate child pornography in Canada … St. Paul’s CWL has available … on a table at the entrance of the Church … ‘Pornography Hurts Everyone’ postcards for parishioners to send to their Member of Parliament in Ottawa.  NO stamp required!  Please state your MP’s name with a question addressed to him, eg. … “What are you doing to eliminate child pornography in Canada?”  Sign your name, with your return address, indicating you want a response.  Thank you!

Feast Day of St. Anne & St. Joachim Pilgrimage … Friday, July 29, St. Anne’s Parish, Hope River will celebrate the Feast Day of our Blessed Virgin Mary’s parents … Mass, 10:30am following a pilgrimage walk.   9.5 km walk starts at Stella Maris Church parking lot 7:30am.  The 2.0km walk ,  8:45am at Stella Maris Church. Four Churches of St. Dunstan in Charlottetown … four churches have been erected since 1816 on the corner of Great George & Dorchester Sts. In celebration of the bicentennial of the first church in Ch’town dedicated to St. Dunstan, Fr. Art O’Shea, Diocesan Archivist, will be presenting a review of the four churches … St. Andrew’s Chapel, 3km east of Mount Stewart on Route 2,  Sunday, July 24 , 2 pm. Admission by donation.  Lunch included.

St. Paul’s Youth Group … meets Wednesdays, 7pm – 9pm, 2nd level of Parish Centre.  All youth, Grades 7 & up are welcome to attend.  Come and see.
