Divine Mercy on Good Friday … gathering on Good Friday after the 3:00pm service to begin the Divine Mercy novena which will be prayed daily for 9 days ending on Divine Mercy Sunday. Pamphlets will be provided for those wishing to join us. We may then do the novena daily at home or consider going to the church on days it is open.

Divine Mercy Sunday is April 3rd … 2:00pm – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a period of Adoration with an opportunity for confession. 3:00pm – Divine Mercy Chaplet followed by Benediction.

All are welcome to this beautiful celebration of Jesus’ Mercy and love. Jesus said to St. Faustina “Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus I Trust in You” (Diary, 47). “I want this image … to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy” (Diary, 49).

Religious Education … NO catechism class on Palm Sunday (March 20th) and Easter Sunday (March 27th). Classes resume on Sunday, April 3rd.

Our Catholic Faith … Wednesdays, 7:00pm with Fr. Chris facilitating an hour long session about the Catholic faith using the second part of the Symbolon program.

The Mass of Chrism … at the Basilica on Monday March 21, 7 PM. Those interested in singing with the Diocesan choir for this event are encouraged to attend rehearsals held in the church on Sundays (March 13 & 20) at 1:00 PM.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul … suggested food items-peanut butter, canned meats, soda crackers, miracle whip. “Defining the poor is basically easy – it is in all of us. It is not just the people who call us, or live on the streets. We are all poor in some measure. Sometimes this poverty is more evident than others. However, we all have a reason to be.” – Dr. P. St. Paul’s Youth Group … meets Wednesdays, 7pm – 9pm, 2nd level of Parish Centre. All youth, Grades 7 & up are welcome to attend. Come and see.
