The Marriage Preparation program … for St. Paul’s and surrounding parishes will be presented by Holy Family Ministries Wednesday evenings, April 8th & 15th followed by an all day Saturday(lunch included) April 25 in the Main Hall at St. Paul’s Parish Center. All those planning marriage in 2015 are required to attend a Pre-Marriage Preparation program. The cost is $100.00 per couple. To register please call 854-2719 or email:

Lectio: Peter … a 10-week adult faith formation series produced by the Augustin Institute on the life and meaning of Simon Peter, a poor fisherman, an impetuous follower, a bungling disciple and The Cornerstone of Catholicism. Starts Wednesday, April 8th , 7:00pm at St. Paul’s Parish. Includes introduction to praying with Scripture and group discussions. Register with JoAnne Perry at 436-4532.

Divine Mercy Sunday … our annual Divine Mercy Sunday Holy Hour will be on Sunday, April 12th at 3pm beginning with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the Divine Mercy chaplet. Silent prayer will continue until 3:50 with the opportunity for confession. At 3:50pm we will conclude with some vocal prayers and Benediction.

Divine Mercy Novena … all parishioners are invited to gather in prayer, after the 3:00pm Good Friday service to begin the Divine Mercy Novena.

Religious Education News …
Confirmation … candidates, please have baptism forms & sponsor name(s) in office ASAP.
Children receiving the Sacrament of First Communion … verification of baptism is required. Please bring in a copy of your child’s baptism certificate. Reconciliation for All Grades … will continue during class time. Grade 2 – April 19th; Grade 8 – May 3rd.
First Communion … is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th, 10:30am Mass only. Confirmation … will be Saturday, May 16th, 7:00pm.
Sunday Catechism Classes during March break … will be changed. NO classes on Sundays, March 29th & April 5th. Classes resume April 12th.

Ask A Priest … do you have a question about the faith? In response to a suggestion at the Pastoral Council meeting, we’ll be placing a box by the main entrance of the Church where you can drop off questions. After we gather a few questions, we’ll be choosing some to answer in the bulletin.

Anniversary Mass for Saturday, April 4th …with this date being the Holy Saturday Easter Vigil, all names given will be added to the Mass of April 11th. Blessings!

Come to the Mass of Chrism … on Monday, March 30th, 7:00pm at St. Dunstan’s Basilica … an integral part of our Holy Week tradition takes place with the blessing and consecration of Holy Oils, presided by Bishop Richard Grecco and concelebrated with most priests of our Diocese. All are most welcome to attend.

St. Paul’s Youth Group … meets every Thursday, 7pm – 9pm, 2nd level of St. Paul’s Parish Centre. All youth, Grades 7 & up are welcome to attend. Come and see.

National Catholic Mission 2015 … “Beware the Holy Spirit” will be broadcast on VISION TV, Monday, March 30th, (part 1) and Tuesday, March 31st, (part 2) at 7:00pm and repeated at 11:00pm. It will be hosted by Fr. Pat Fitzpatrick and feature Spiritan Fr. Anthony Gittins.
