Knights of Columbus … meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month,  8pm, K of C Room, 2nd Floor, Parish Centre.  Please join the K of C on the first Saturday evening of each month at 6:30 pm for rosary in preparation for the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady’s appearance at Fatima.

Safeguarding Persons Most at Risk … Bill C-14 is now before the Parliament of Canada.  No matter how it may be amended, it is an affront to human dignity, an erosion of human solidarity, and a danger to all vulnerable persons … particularly the aged, disabled, infirm and sick who so often find themselves isolated and marginalized.  Moreover, it is a violation of the sacrosanct duty of healthcare providers to heal, and the responsibility of legislators and citizens to assure and provide protection for all, especially those persons most at risk.  For info to share with others about the negative impact of physician-assisted suicide, visit …

Society of St. Vincent de Paul News … our mission implies that we: see Christ in anyone that suffers; have personal contact with the poor and help in all possible ways.  Your ongoing support through monetary & food donations is very much needed due to increasing food costs and increasing demands for our services.  Suggested food items:  coffee, hearty soups, canned meats, cheese whiz.  Thanks!

Birthright PEI …  continues to offer support to women who face crisis pregnancies. Birthright appreciates donations from groups/individuals and Birthright volunteers are conscious that we provide services on behalf of all our supporters. We are presently seeking volunteers to help in our office & fundraising. Training is provided. A qualified volunteer needs to be available to provide confidential and non-judgemental love and support to women who face a crisis due to their pregnancies. The ultimate objective of Birthright is that women will trust there is sufficient support in their community that they will choose life for their babies.
