Quotes from Pope Francis’ Encyclical “Laudato Si” – “Our Common Home” … Care for creation must stand together with care for the poor. Today, however, we have to realize that a true ecological approach always becomes a social approach; it must integrate questions of justice in debates on the environment, so as to hear both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. Accepting nominations for the election until October 18th at noon. These nominations can be passed into the parish office or placed in an envelope marked “Finance Committee Nomination” and dropped into the collection basket at Mass or slide under the Main Office door. If we have more than two nominations, the names will be published in the bulletin on the weekend of Oct 24-25th and the voting will take place following each Mass on the weekend of Oct 31 – Nov 1.
