Religious Education News …
Grade 8 Confirmation Class … will sign the Inscription Promise during catechism class, Sunday, Oct. 23rd. This states their commitment of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation … to be an apostle of Jesus Christ;
Teachers for Grade 7 … still needed: one unit is six lessons. If you have a love for Christ and desire to share, that is all you need to begin. You grow as the children grow. Theresa’s new office hours Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00am – 4:30pm.
Prayer Petitions … please feel free to place your prayer intentions in the locked box at the front of the Church, located under the Image of Mary & baby Jesus. These prayer requests will not be seen by anyone. They will be offered up in daily prayer when we gather for the Rosary before daily Mass and the Divine Mercy Chaplet after daily Mass. All are welcome to join us in prayer.
Are you someone or do you know someone who:
– has an interest in becoming Catholic? – was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist? We are starting sessions on the teachings and experience of Church to prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. Info from Fr. Chris through the parish office. Currently we have 3 people preparing to receive these sacraments next Easter, please keep them in your prayers.
St. Paul’s CWL News … Christmas Lottery, Craft & Bake Sale will be on Dec. 3rd. Members are asked to donate $5 towards the money tree by giving to June Gallant or any CWL member. Members wishing to donate time selling lottery tickets, County Fair Mall are asked to contact Marcia Whelan. Those wishing to attend the Life Chain in Ch’Town, Sunday are asked to meet in St. Paul’s parking lot at 12:30pm for carpooling.
